For veterinary clinics
The clinic was closed. The pet parent still needed a next step.
We install one job: after-hours routing to your emergency hospital, vaccine reminders with real drop-off windows, or the discharge text that never went out. We do not play vet over text.
The problem
The line goes to voicemail at 10pm. A pet parent needs a next step, not a marketing chat. Vaccine due last month never got a reminder because the CSR was at the desk. Surgery went home and the aftercare PDF stayed in someone's inbox.
How we work
Step 1
Name the leak
After-hours panic with no ER path, reminder list that nobody owns, or discharge packets that never leave the building.
Step 2
Write the safe rules
Your emergency hospital number, what the clinic will never advise over text, drop-off windows you actually run. No diagnosis by chatbot.
Step 3
Install with the CSR
Shared chat so the office manager sees the work, then takes over. Friday: after-hours routed, reminders sent, discharges closed.
Calls we handle
- After hours. Dog ate chocolate, clinic closed. Text gives your emergency hospital number and says the clinic cannot diagnose over text. No homemade protocol.
- Reminder. Cat vaccines due last month. Offer two morning drop-off windows you actually run. Skip the cute guilt copy.
- Discharge. Surgery went home. Morning text: pickup confirmation and the aftercare PDF you already use. Not a promo for dental month.
Questions
- Will it give medical advice?
- No. After-hours routes to your emergency hospital. In-hours questions that are not on your list go to a named CSR or DVM.
- Do I have to become the AI person?
- No. The office manager watches us in a shared chat, then takes over in plain language. We handle uptime.
- Can it refill meds?
- Only if you publish a refill path. Default is a human. We will not invent a prescription.
- What about the practice software?
- We start with the phone, SMS, and the reminder list you actually use. If the PMS connection is worth it, we say so on the call.
