For plumbing shops
The water was still running. You were on another call.
We install one job: the missed-call text when you cannot pick up, the first reply that uses your yes/no list, or the follow-up on water heater bids that went quiet. Shared chat. Friday report.
The problem
Saturday 6am, a burst line, you are already under a sink across town. The call hits voicemail. A camera-snake question sits in Google messages until Monday. Last week's water heater bid has no second contact because the office manager is also running parts.
How we work
Step 1
Pick the leak
After-hours water running, camera and snake questions you answer the same way every time, or heater bids with no second touch.
Step 2
Lock the facts
Which emergencies you roll on, what a 4-inch main costs to diagnose, where you will not drive. The employee does not invent a price.
Step 3
Run it with you
We install it, prompt in a shared chat first, then you take over. Friday: calls recovered, bids touched, hours back.
Calls we handle
- Missed call. Burst line, water still on. Text asks address, shutoff status, and whether water is still running. True floods route to you. The rest get the next open window.
- Google message. Do you snake 4-inch mains? Reply from your yes/no list, then a callback slot. If the answer is not on the list, it goes to a named person.
- Sitting bid. Water heater quote from last week. Follow-up names the model they asked about and asks if they want the install day or to close it.
Questions
- Can it tell a flood from a drip?
- It captures what the caller said and routes using your rules. It does not diagnose through a text. If they say water is still running, that follows your emergency path.
- Do I have to become the AI person?
- No. We stay in a shared chat. You watch how we assign work, then you take over in plain language. We own uptime.
- Will it quote a job from a photo?
- Not unless you say so. Most shops we work with inspect on site first. The reply can say that in your words.
- What if we already use Housecall Pro?
- We can often sit on top of what you have. Book a call and we will say if we are the right fit.
